Lucija Rosc (1995) is a Slovenian visual artist working across photography, moving image, and installation.
Drawing from personal histories and everyday life, her practice explores memory, inheritance and the ways private experiences become collective, often through humor and play.
She holds a BA in Photography from VIST – Faculty of Applied Sciences and an MA in Visual Communication Design (Photography) from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana, where she graduated with distinction.
In 2022, she received the UL ALUO Prešeren Award. In 2024, she received the PhMuseum Women Photographers Grant, was nominated for the OHO Group Award, and was nominated by Organ Vida for FUTURES Photography.
Her film BABIŠČINA / HEIRLOOM received the Best Documentary Award and Audience Award at SHOTS Film Festival in 2025.
In 2026, she was nominated for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award.
Her work has been presented internationally, including at PhMuseum Lab in Bologna, Circulation(s) in Paris, Maison de la Culture d’Amiens, the Museum of Modern Art (MG+) and the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (MSUM) in Ljubljana.
Rosc is a member of the Študio collective and is represented by Galerija Fotografija.
